Information, support, lunch and friendly conversation
Join Hull Parent Carer Forum and local services for an informal session
Are you a parent or carer of a child or young person (0-25) accessing Special School, Day Care, or awaiting a placement in Hull or the East Riding?
Navigating support systems can be incredibly overwhelming, but you do not have to do it alone.
The Hull Parent Carer Forum is hosting a dedicated advice and support event specifically for parents and carers of children and young people who attend a special school provision.
We know there is often a lack of clear information available to families. To help bridge this gap, we are aiming to bring a wide variety of professionals from both children’s and adult services together under one roof.
You will have the opportunity to get direct advice, get information, resources and learn exactly how local services and referral pathways work.
Services invited include the Dynamic Support Keyworker Service, Speech and Language, Humber Sensory Service, Social Care, Community Learning Disability Teams, and more!
There is no pressure to speak or share personal information. You are welcome to ask questions, listen to the discussion and connect with other parent carers who understand.
