Did you know raising £500 would allow us to fund our coffee and chat sessions for the full year? In these sessions, we gather feedback, signpost to services and facilitate peer-to-peer support within a safe space.

Sanctuary Housing has an in-house initiative to run coffee mornings to offer peer support to their parent carer staff members. Tasha and Emma were invited along in April, having the opportunity to meet people, let them know about what the forum does and signpost them to other sources of information.
A huge thanks goes to Alan, Helen, Natalie and the rest of the amazing team for putting on such a lovely coffee morning and raising £505.20, which has been donated to the forum and will be used to support other events for our members.
Lauren is one of our ambassadors, and alongside all the support we receive from her at our engagement events, she chose to do the couch to 5k in April raising sponsorship for us and TIC Yorkshire.
She raised £400 in total and donated £200 to each of us. Couch to 5k is an amazing personal achievement, and the money donated to the forum will be used to support future events for our members.
