Get Involved
People working together in a shared community, with a shared goal and common purpose can make the impossible possible.
HPCF was created as a way for parent carers of children and young people with SEND to connect, allowing us to pool our knowledge and exert influence to improve the services for all.
Difficulties navigating the SEND system, coupled with inefficient allocation of resources is not only lowering people's confidence within it but reducing the outcomes of our children from it overall.1
Together we can make a difference, by sharing our experiences - the good and the bad we can continue to present parental voice and input into SEND services around Hull.
There are various ways you can support us, some take little to no time at all.
Membership
The easiest way to support us is by becoming a member. Membership is free, a diagnosis is not needed, and it entitles you to access our range of engagement, information and feedback events, including workshops and webinars. Becoming a member also gives you access to our closed Faceook Group where you can connect with other members, share advice and information.
Have your say
Another easy way to contribute is by telling us about your experiences as a parent of a disabled child - the good, the bad and the stuff that keeps you awake at night with worry! You can fill out our feedback form, email us, come to our events or take part in participation workshops. The more people that share their experiences, the bigger the collective voice we will have!
