As your local forum, we are dedicated to gathering and sharing your invaluable feedback with the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF).
We meet regularly with both Regional and National Parent Carer Forums. Meaning your insights into the experiences of your children and families in our city are crucial for informing local improvements and contribute to a national conversation that aims to shape services across the country.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your amazing contributions. Sharing both the challenges and successes you face helps us paint a broader picture of what life is like for families navigating this journey. Your feedback is essential in ensuring that local services truly understand the daily challenges you encounter and how these impact your child, yourself, and your wider family.
We know that being a parent of a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can be incredibly tough. The emotional and physical toll can be overwhelming, and the journey often comes with many obstacles. Your strength in facing these challenges while still taking the time to share your experiences is recognised and truly appreciated.
Furthermore, we recognise that recent government changes and budget constraints can create additional challenges in accessing the support your child needs. By coming together and sharing our experiences, we can advocate for better services and highlight the necessity for adequate funding and resources.
Together, we are a powerful conduit for your voice. By collaborating and standing united, we hope to drive meaningful change not just locally, but nationally.
